Bayancol is the third highest peak in the valley (after Marble Wall 6350 m  and Semionova peak 5816 m).  The route of Shipilov (1953) leads along the north ridge (full line). The approach to the route is in the beginning identical with the path to the Odinnadzaty pass. Another possible approach is across the Marble wall glacier along the root of  the N ridge of the Kazakhstan peak and across  the K-B glacier (dotted line).
